C’est l’été en Mongolie. Une famille de nomades aide les chamelles du troupeau à mettre bas. L’une d’elles y parvient difficilement. Dès la naissance, elle se désintéresse de son bébé et lui refuse son lait. La tradition veut qu’on fasse venir un violoniste pour émouvoir la chamelle et la réconcilier avec son bébé chameau…

Comme LE CHIEN JAUNE DE MONGOLIE, de la même réalisatrice, le film nous emmène dans un pays méconnu (La Mongolie, et plus particulièrement le désert de Gobi et ses habitants nomades). A travers un joli conte, elle se livre à un film à l’aspect documentaire, mais qui demeure touchant. Très sympathique.

Ce film est très beau. Quand je l’ai acheté, mon amis m’a dit « c’est pour les enfants ». D’abord j’aime les contes, qu’on dit pour les enfants mais qui sont plein de sagesse et d’enseignement. Surtout pour les adultes ! Ensuite, il n’est pas du tout mièvre. Le bonus montre la réalisatrice qui explique que c’est une histoire vraie, ce qui ajoute encore de la magie à ce « conte ». J’aime beaucoup aussi le fait que les personnages du film ne soient pas acteurs, et si souvent les regards ne peuvent s’empêcher de regarder du côté de la caméra, ça ajoute un côté frais et sincère au film. On est dans l’actuel, le vécu… Et personnellement j’adore être dans cette zone entre le réel et l’imaginaire, le conte et la réalité…Ce film est à découvrir, pour tous !

Superbe film sur la Mongolie et son peuple. Grace à ce film et aux autres films « le chien jaune de Mongolie », « urga », « le mariage de Tuya », « Mongolian ping Pong » il n’est plus nécessaire de prendre un avion pour aller faire le touriste de base dans ces paysages de rêve.
En esperant que la société de consommation et surtout le tourisme ne détruira pas la culture de ce peuple.
Merci à ces réalisateurs de ces films qui nous font découvrir la vie de ces peuples mieux qu’avec un voyage organisé.

Je me suis sentie à l’aise dans ce film qui parle de gens,pareils à nous,qui vivent ailleurs et de manière différente .
Plus qu’un documentaire , c’est une tranche de vie .
Mes petits -enfants ont beaucoup apprécié également .

On est ici bien plus proche du documentaire que du film classique, et il convient d’y être préparé, au risque de n’être pas touché par sa grâce. Arrivé vierge devant l’oeuvre, il m’aura fallu un moment pour m’en imprégner, d’autant plus que le doublage en français est proprement épouvantable (essentiellement à cause du travail sur le son, en complet décallage avec l’image). Cela reste néanmoins un très bon outil à réfléchir, à conseiller vivement aux enfants -qui risquent de décrocher rapidement si on ne les aide pas un peu à en comprendre l’essence.
Globalement je suis tout de même un peu déçu, j’en espérais des émotions plus forte, une imprégnation plus grande avec ces nomades anachroniques et les turpitudes de leur existence à la merci de la nature.
